Scope

This is exciting and challenging role for an experienced Account Director, which will be 50% on a financial services account, working on the CSR programme. The core role will focus on managing an ongoing programme of digital work, supported by a multi-disciplinary craft and engineering team.

You will work closely with all members of the Dare team from strategy to final delivery, BAU and maintenance, managing internal and external stakeholders and laying the groundwork for a successful future relationship with the brand. You’ll also be tasked with supporting the growth and development of this major account, helping our clients understand the value of Dare and how we can help them excel in the new digital economy.

A good grounding in digital platform delivery is essential for the role. We need an Account Director who’s human, someone who knows how to build, grow & maintain meaningful client relationships, able to get the best out of people and inspire our internal team to perform at their best.

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • You’ve lead accounts in an integrated agency, managed multiple client stakeholders and produced work you are proud of
  • You are adept at leading successful and complex digital build projects
  • You have experience developing digital content for clients
  • You enjoy pitching for new client projects; hunting out new opportunities and galvanising a team to convert them into live projects
  • Used to building and developing a strong network of relationships across a variety of stakeholders from marketing managers to CEOs
  • Previous experience with managing a team and being able to give direction and get the best out of talent within the agency
  • Excellent interpersonal and management skills
  • Strong organisational and presentation skills
  • Motivational leadership, inspiring team to deliver
  • Sound commercial decision making skills based in agency, client, and industry knowledge
  • Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership and management to the agency teams working on your account
  • Retain and grow client relationships
  • Manage client revenue forecasts on a weekly basis and ensure target profitability achieved
  • Keep all senior management up to date with any client escalations or risks
  • Keep team morale high and ensure everyone in the team is focused on delivering our client’s business goals and priorities
  • Support Project Manager with day-to-day client communications on all accounts you work on
  • Support Project Manager with task prioritisation and team workload planning
  • Set client expectations and interface closely with all stakeholders on performance against project goals
  • Work with Head of Technology and Tech lead to ensure clients are up to date with technical platform developments and restrictions
  • Ensure proper performance tracking and reporting systems are in place to ensure programme can be tracked and measured according to the client’s needs
  • Develop and implement account plans which formally identify additional Account opportunities and specific ways to strengthen service delivery with clients
