About the Role

We are looking for an incredible BDR Manager to be part of the foundational leadership team. You will be an integral part of continuing to launch and develop our East Coast territories, while also contributing to the in-office culture. You will work alongside sales leadership and play an integral role in recruiting, developing and managing a BDR team of 5-10 representatives. We are looking for someone who has not only built their own very successful track record in a SaaS sales environment, but someone who has positively influenced and helped build the careers of those on their team. 

What You'll Do

  • Architect our BDR team structure and strategy, including inbound and outbound sales processes
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of high performing Business Development Representatives
  • Create fundamental training documents including call scripts and career ladders
  • Lead by example, occasionally rolling up your sleeves and jumping on calls to demonstrate best practices
  • Utilize Salesforce and other sales tools to maximize your team's impact
  • Work seamlessly with senior sales leadership to meet high-level KPIs and revenue targets

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of sales experience in a high-growth startup environment, with at least 2 years managing teams of 5+ individual reps (SaaS work is highly preferred)
  • Track record of success in sales; ideally you started as an SDR/BDR and moved your way into management through exceptional performance
  • Experience with cold calling SMB targets is a big plus
  • Experience creating training programs and process documentation 
  • Desire to punch through ambiguity and ramp up quickly with limited resources 
  • Experience with standard sales tools and a desire to explore and implement new tools to further streamline the sales process
  • Overall track record of professional and academic success
