About the Role

Dandy is hiring an Implants CDT to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. The Implants team owns the operational success of the Implant restoration business, making sure that our doctors get the highest quality products and customer service in a timely manner. In this role, you’ll help provide technical expertise to offer superb customer service for our doctors, improve our product quality, and instill best practices at our labs.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the technical liaison between customers and the lab (i.e. translate doctor feedback to digital designs)
  • Speak to doctors through phone and chat to answer questions and provide technical customer service 
  • Investigate customer refabrication requests to identify the root cause and recommended solutions
  • Help Dandy refine our quality standards and communicate it to our design team and partner labs
  • Be the team technical subject matter expert

What We're Looking For 

  • Minimum 10 years experience as a CDT with experience in manufacturing digital implants
  • Experience designing digital implants (3Shape preferred) and building best practices
  • Strong knowledge of different implant systems and their digital components (i.e. scan bodies)
  • Empathetic - able to connect well with other people and understand the customer’s pain points
  • Experience working in digital dental labs 
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining superior quality standards for every case
  • Desire to work at a fast growing, fully-digital lab
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent a plus, but not required

Bonus Points For

  • You have experience building out manufacturing or quality control processes 
  • You have experience with guided surgery/treatment planning and all-on-x/hybrid restorations
  • You have experience managing a team at an implants focused dental lab
