Dailymotion is looking for an experienced Interaction Designer who’s hungry for an opportunity to contribute toward the design and development of large-scale product with multiple cross usages (including Desktop and Mobile).

  • Understand and optimize a visual language for interactive systems that hold up to the development process
  • A primary contributor to the ideation and execution of the interactive design solutions and overall user experience
  • Work closely with Product Managers, UI Developers and other designers
  • Create and iterate upon wireframes, early prototypes and visual designs with a strong focus on intuitive, user-centered design thinking and optimal usability
  • Constructing clean and organized design deliverables that adhere to style guidelines
  • Close collaboration with designers and other team members to create a compelling and successful user experiences
  • Being a team player and a positive addition to the company culture 

Job Requirements

  • Possession of a degree in Interaction Design, UX, Visual Design, UI Design or other related discipline 
  • 5+ years Interaction and/or Visual Design experience within a team environment
  • A passion for Interaction Design, Visual Design and UX best practices
  • An openness and eagerness to collaborate across disciplines with team members at all levels
  • Strong experience using wireframe, prototype and visual design tools, such as Axure, Sketch, Omnigraffle, EnVision, Adobe CS, etc.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating clean, intuitive designs that affectively “make simple” what would otherwise be complex user interactions
  • Experience in Ad tech a strong plus
  • Experience in Agile methodologies also a plus
  • Must be self-motivated and proactive while maintaining the ability to receive and integrate team input
  • Dedicated and accountable to the success of the team
  • Organized, with a strong attention to detail in both the design executions as well as some documentation
  • Fast and efficient contributor to final interface design deliverables
  • The ability to both work autonomously, as well as critical part of a team
  • Able to effectively communicate and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure the interactive and visual design is communicating the desired message and User Experience
