Position Overview: 

Our first in-house UX Designer will play a critical role in bringing our product and brand vision to life by creating meaningful experiences for our customers across multiple channels. In this role, you will create data-driven design that will enhance our customers’ experience with every interaction with our product.

You should be a strategic thinker with a genuine desire to keep up with the latest design trends, while still maintaining a solid UX foundation, centered around exceptional customer experience. You thrive off of finding solutions to complex interactions, user experience, and design problems. Working closely with the product and engineering functions, you’ll enhance the customer-driven mindset across the company that both elevates our level of product design and also works to achieve our larger company goals.

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive and implement designs while collaborating with a cross-functional team
  • Work with entire product team on the entire product development cycle, from concept development to execution to launch
  • Think through user issues and find reasonable solutions
  • Look for opportunities to solve problems in unusual and innovative ways
  • Take an active and involved role in the definition of our product strategy
  • Partner with engineers to oversee the user experience of new features and products from conception until launch
  • Partner with engineering in implementation and QA
  • Seek out creative, design-led solutions to challenging problems
  • Create user flows to the ultimate visual design
  • Make selfless design decisions for the betterment of our customers and our business
  • Make it beautiful, simple, and delightful, always

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years in UX design and research
  • A passion for e-commerce
  • A track record of building exceptional and engaging user experiences for e-commerce websites
  • Informed and excited about current user-interaction and design standards
  • Experience creating and evaluating A/B testing methodologies
  • Front-end coding experience
  • Ability to quickly prototype
  • Obsessive with details
