In this exciting role, the Senior Manager, US HCP Marketing, aficamten will not only have a significant impact on the continued and future success of our US business at Cytokinetics, but also the lives of those living with this challenging disease.

You will be responsible for planning and implementing critical product strategy and HCP tactics. This role will develop and execute, through in-depth understanding of HCPs, a cohesive plan to execute market development, design and build brand engagement and prepare for the organization’s first product launch.

As Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the Market Development strategy, ensuring the development and implementation of content, and partner and deliver excellence via congress engagement and omni-channel execution as measured by a robust KPI framework.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of the Market Development strategy to effectively convey key messages to target audiences by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader organizational goals
  • Oversee the development of creative and breakthrough content that resonates with the target audience, including ensuring consistency of messaging across various channels and touchpoints
  • Partner closely on the development and execution of media investment strategies to maximize reach and engagement, in partnership with Omni-channel Digital Lead
  • In collaboration with media and research/analytics partners, establish a robust measurement framework to evaluate the impact and success of marketing initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders, adjusting strategies and initiatives as needed.
  • Lead a fully integrated multichannel market development campaigns to drive engagement of key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Digital, Medical, Corporate Communication, Patient Advocacy) and external vendors to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible and compliant HCP communications
  • Manage budgets and closely monitor performance, ensuring cost-effective delivery of all programs and supporting agencies/vendors
  • Create a hard-working, inclusive and supportive team culture. Fostering a culture that celebrates and values a team of diverse experiences and backgrounds and elevating team potential through collaboration and clear communication
  • Domestic travel up to 20%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required with 8+ years of pharmaceutical experience with focus on US/global marketing and brand management
  • MBA or other advanced degrees is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop HCP marketing strategy and execute/measure promotional campaigns
  • Experience in rare disease and/or oncology in creating unique HCP experiences preferred, including ETASU REMS implementation and working with specialty pharmacies
  • Pharmaceutical sales and/or sales management a plus
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues
  • High-level strategic thinking, with the ability to translate customer insights into actionable marketing strategy
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, demonstrated ability to be a proactive thinker and to embody a solution-oriented mindset
  • Proven self-starter, able to work independently, able to handle full workload across multiple projects
  • Collaborates seamlessly across functions to build effective working relationships and align on strategy and execution
  • High level of self-awareness and understanding of the importance of self-monitoring behavior for continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively in a matrix environment and building sustainable and collaborative relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to articulate and convey complex data and information concisely to internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

 

 

 

Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as the service line and location where this position may be filled.

Salary Pay Range
$180,000$220,000 USD
