POSITION PROFILE
Current Global is seeking a Manager, Digital Health in our growing healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will be overseeing the digital client management and strategy across some of our top clients by managing the planning and implementation of impactful digital and social media programs. This position requires deep knowledge of digital and social platforms, experience working as part of integrated marketing/inter-agency teams, as well as the ability to develop and present strategic programs derived from research and analytics. A thorough understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries is preferred.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primarily involved in the day-to-day operations of all aspects of client(s) digital work, understanding their business, managing deliverables, conducting partnerships with other agencies and vendors, liaising with clients
  • Ideate with clients on tactical issues in social and digital media (blogging, microsites, social networks, syndication, influencers, paid media, etc.) and provide counsel
  • Work as part of an integrated team, translating ideas into actionable social plans, and assisting on execution
  • Oversee digital campaigns and content production from concept to execution to measurement

  • Establishing and maintaining strategic workflows for the digital healthcare team
  • Drive the development of digital analytics reporting and analysis – gleaning insights that support organic account growth
  • Maintain a keen interest in current industry trends, and act as a thought leader in elevating these trends to clients and our digital health team
  • Understand industry issues that impact the client, particularly the regulatory landscape and its implications on the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry’s use of social media
  • Manage project execution to ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Educate clients and account teams about strategic benefits and opportunities within the digital and social space
  • Experiment constantly. Pilot new tactics, creative, and strategies and prove their effectiveness through data

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-6 years of experience at an agency or corporate in-house (social media experience required)
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills that are clear, concise, and direct, with keen attention to detail
  • Experience within cross-channel digital marketing strategies, working closely with different teams including analytics, creative, media, strategy, planning, and PR.
  • Experience with analytics and research platforms (i.e. NetBase, Brandwatch, Synthesio, etc.)
  • Proficiency with major social media channels and online tools (i.e. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite, Twitter for Business, etc.)
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; applicant must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently and interdependently
  • Excellent time and project management skills
