We are looking for a Senior Manager of Pricing to help accelerate our monetization strategy across our global B2B business. Reporting to the Director of Pricing, you will develop and drive initiatives that optimize our pricing, packaging and revenue capture to support our business goals.
You will have the opportunity to delve into every aspect of pricing from investigating Willingness to Pay to optimizing discounting strategy across a portfolio of SaaS products. Analytical chops, comfort with data and effective communications are key to success. And since pricing is a team sport, you’ll partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, Product Marketing and Finance to get the job done in this fast-moving environment. This is a new function for us and a great opportunity for someone who wants to have big impact on a business and the world of work!
You will:
- Lead pricing initiatives, including driving quantitative and qualitative analyses, developing recommendations and orchestrating x-functional teams to deliver.
- Conduct analysis of sales data and other quantitative data to identify and inform pricing opportunities.
- Lead internal and external interviews to understand value drivers, test hypotheses, and refine pricing and GTM planning.
- Measure and track monetization performance and competitor pricing.
- Develop enablement materials to ensure our field teams can effectively speak to our pricing.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Customer Success, Rev Ops, Product, Product Marketing, and Legal to guide projects to GTM success.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
You have:
- 2+ years of experience in pricing strategy, preferably within the B2B SaaS industry.
- 4+ years of total work experience in Pricing, Ops, Corp Strategy, or similar experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, and Private Equity/Venture Capital.
- BA/BS degree in economics, management science, business, applied math, statistics, finance, analytics or related field.
- Proven experience successfully developing and implementing pricing strategies.
- Hands-on experience conducting market research related to pricing.
- Skilled at analyzing CRM data (SFDC in particular) and other data types to glean insights that inform strategy.
- Comfortable managing a strategy project end-to-end from planning to polished recommendation.
- Strong verbal and written communications with the ability to influence and galvanize x-functional partners.
- Experience working with B2B sales teams and developing enablement or training materials.
- Can ‘act like an owner’ to drive initiatives to successful outcomes in a fast-paced, global, environment.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is listed below. In addition to base salary, your compensation package will include additional components such as equity and benefits. For sales roles, your package may also include sales commission
