How you can help make a better world of work

Culture Amp is looking for an exceptional Data Governance Lead, based out of Melbourne but supporting our global business and working closely with a cross functional group. 

This is the first role of its kind within the organization and as such you will be entrusted with establishing the Data Governance program, including defining key principles and processes to support its success.

Due to the highly collaborative nature of this position and the growth trajectory we are on, it would suit someone who is comfortable with a wide range of data initiatives and who knows how to create and implement processes that are fit for purpose and that enable us to scale. 

In part of this team of amazing humans, 

You will 

  • Drive the creation of Data Governance frameworks
  • Facilitate data governance related decisions and change management
  • Partner with data practice leaders and data engineering to implement controls and best practices
  • Inform data governance related data platform capabilities
  • Support and maintain the data governance program and it’s adoption

You have 

  • Demonstrated capability working with, navigating multiple and complex data domains
  • Proven experience implementing successful data governance that enabled impactful business outcomes
  • Experience running a governance program and being able to quantify the impact
  • Superior ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and work well across disparate business units

You are

  • A lateral thinker with a keen eye for detail and you naturally analyse assumptions
  • Comfortable in ambiguity
  • Great at communicating with both technical and non-technical people
  • Thorough & Meticulous
  • Excellent at identifying problems that have the highest value for stakeholders
