Culture Amp is a rapidly growing company empowering our customers to build Culture First companies. Our market-leading, category-defining Engagement product has been the engine of our success. In 2019 we added an award winning performance management solution to our portfolio. These two products together enable us to deliver highly differentiated, powerful and industry-leading capabilities to our customers.

We are looking for a Director of Engineering for the new Performance product to lead a seasoned team of engineers. This role forms part of a leadership team responsible for converting the early momentum into a category-defining powerhouse and developing a strong foundation for a new suite of solutions that will help our customers build Culture First companies. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to build complete and effective delivery teams, set vision and strategy and create a culture of engineering excellence.

What You Are Accountable For

  • Delivery for and operations of Culture Amp Performance product, including:
    • Ensuring short term delivery goals are met, while also working towards the long term so that we go even faster in the future
    • Maintaining the stability and reliability of the product as we scale
    • Shaping a technical vision for how we improve our systems over time
    • Owning all assets and technical risks associated with the product
    • Providing input and guidance on the product roadmap and delivery plans
  • Leading 30+ Engineers in the Camp across multiple teams
  • Growing team and technical leaders in the Camp, and developing the careers of the Engineers that you mentor
  • Fostering a positive, contagious engineering culture within the Camp and across the business
  • Contributing to building out our world class Engineering capability

What You Bring to Our Camp

  • Leadership skills to inspire, nurture and grow the people around you
  • Previous experience leading 4+ cross-functional delivery teams, with strong track record of delivery
  • Solid understanding of software quality and its impact on short term and long term success
  • Enthusiasm for not just leading an Engineering function, but also creating and improving great products
  • Proven ability to influence, collaborate and engage a variety of stakeholders including product managers, engineers, designers, sales, marketing, customer success and most importantly - our prospects and customers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
