In this role, you will analyze petabytes of timeseries data to
Characterize vehicle performance quantitatively and qualitatively
Establish system-level performance goals and metrics
Identify areas for improvement
Prove self-driving cars are safe!
Develop and execute test methodology for system-level functional and performance requirements
Produce and automate performance metrics to support development and identify regressions
Develop human-robot performance comparisons
Design ETL jobs to compute test performance metrics
Deploy these jobs across petabytes of data stored at multiple sites
3+ years of practical experience post-graduation in an engineering discipline.
Practical command of Python
Practical exposure to complex systems integration
Practical knowledge of statistical significance testing
Experience with diagnostics and reliability testing
Excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt and operate under ambiguity
BS, MS, or PhD in engineering, physics, statistics, or a related discipline
Prior experience with kinematic data streams
Prior experience in a related robotics or autonomy discipline
Practical experience with PySpark
Familiarity with C++
Solve difficult problems that have immediate and valuable real-world applications
