What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide front line support for technical issues across our environment, with a focus on end-user experience
  • Effectively manage inbound support requests via helpdesk, tickets, email, and Slack
  • Support all current and changing aspects of our IT environment; including macOS / Linux / Windows / Chrome OS workstations, mobile devices, audio/visual equipment, printers, networking, etc
  • Provide advanced support for a fleet of Linux desktops (i.e. SSH, network configuration, user/file permissions)
  • Continue to strengthen familiarity and understanding of our technical environment
  • Administer tier 1 support for Okta, Google Workspace, and other IT owned tools
  • Provision and troubleshoot access to applications and tools (SaaS and proprietary)
  • Support our employee onboarding processes
  • Prepare hardware for global deployment which includes imaging, validation, and shipping logistics

What you must have:

  • 2+ year(s) of modern Enterprise IT Support experience, or
  • 3+ year(s) of relevant technical customer support experience
    Deep familiarity with at least one of the following: macOS, Windows, Linux
  • Understanding of networking concepts
  • Complete understanding of computer hardware components (i.e. Using component isolation skills to troubleshoot or replace any desktop component)
  • Proven ability to provide hands­ on and remote support and diagnose technical issues across a variety of different platforms
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced complex environment and self manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience understanding complex issues, and explaining them in terms appropriate for technical or non­technical audiences 
  • Desire to provide exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • Attention to detail and a passion for accuracy
  • Team player with excellent communication skills

Bonus Points!

  • Advanced understanding with troubleshooting and supporting Ubuntu Linux 
  • Okta or other SSO administration experience
  • Google Workspace administration experience
  • Knowledge of scripting in Python, Bash, or Apps Script
