About the Role

  • Cruise is looking for a Manager, Driverless Assistance to help supervise the operations team that provides vehicular assistance and customer support before, during, and/or after driverless trips.
  • In this position, you will lead the day to day management of a large team of support agents who assist the autonomous vehicle, as well as lead the growth of our team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop a team of multi-level support advisors and team leads to support 24/7 operations
  • Establish and drive exceptional standards for support operations to ensure everyone is operating efficiently and safely
  • Work with contingent workforce partner to provide high-level strategy and workforce planning
  • Cultivate a healthy and motivated culture while developing internal staff in their professional growth
  • Work cross-functionally with many teams across Cruise to refine current tools and metrics, and to accurately gauge efficiencies and success
  • Provide workable and creative solutions to sophisticated processes and bottlenecks
  • Delegate effectively to solve current issues so the focus can remain on the long-term vision and scalability

What you have:

  • You have previously led a large team - experience handling contingent workers is a plus
  • 7-10 years professional experience, demonstrated ability in real-time operations and people management at a high growth company
  • Analytical and can create/use critical metrics to supervise sophisticated operations
  • Ability to identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Availability to work dynamic hours and be on-call for weekends and holidays if needed
