About the role:
We're looking for an Operations Product Development Manager to engage cross-functionally with internal and remote teams to ensure our hardware program costs are at their best. When opportunities are identified, you’ll lead the project management to see the outcomes realized.

Day-to-day responsibilities Include:

  • Accurately capture our current and future R&D, Prototype, and Production Material Costs
  • Review and optimize spend for engineering design and development, capital equipment, prototype & production tooling, and returnable dunnage budgets
  • Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities for cost reductions or supply chain improvements
  • Assist buyers and purchasing managers in developing accurate and aggressive should-costs and price targets
  • Drive buyers to meet targets and continuously communicate status to stakeholders and company leadership
  • Identify new opportunities to improve cost within the design envelope

You should apply for this role if you have the following qualifications:

  • BS or equivalent
  • 4+ years of industry experience in a fast-paced tech company
  • Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage cross-functionally with remote teams
  • Experience using Excel for work such as cost analysis in professional environment
  • Travel: 15%+ (Domestically)

Bonus points!

  • MBA or MS in an engineering field
  • Experience with Tableau and/or Looker Dashboards
  • Experience using Coupa
