About the role:
 
We're looking for a Senior Workplace Operations Manager to join our Seattle Team. You will help stand up our new Seattle office and will oversee all office services for our Seattle campus.

This role will work closely with our Real Estate, Facilities, Project Delivery and Workplace teams to deliver the Cruise work environment to the Seattle market.

Day-to-day responsibilities Include:

  • Work with the Cruise Real Estate and Workplace team to stand up all office services for our new Seattle campus including office equipment, supplies, food and beverage
  • Participate and support Cruise Global Director of Real Estate with the  build out of our new office, and ongoing upgrades for the Seattle market
  • Assist as a point of contact with various vendors such as architects, project managers, contractors and maintenance
  • Responsible for the Workplace Operations team including reception and office services; bringing the highest quality customer service and support to the Cruise Workplace environment
  • Support space planning and move efforts using your knowledge of the local teams. Act as a point of contact to the Occupancy Planning team for headcount audits and surveys
  • Act as primary local contact for Cruise with landlord and site management
  • Management and development of local Workplace operations team
  • Drive consistency of Cruise brand and culture within the campus
  • Manage tickets and work order requests ensuring that they are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Manages and informs the development of the Seattle office budgets
  • Oversees and guides facility and workplace related communications and is an informative resource for guests and employees

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Formal supervision Seattle Workplace Operations Team
  • Supervision of 3rd party service providers
  • Ability to build and lead a world class workplace operations team focused on an outstanding employee experience in the physical environment
  • Possess excellent management and leadership skills and the ability to motivate and work with and through others to achieve desired results

You should apply for this role if you have the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in facility or office management required
  • 5+ years experience in leading a team  
  • Associate’s Degree required
  • Budget management skills
  • Experience in providing extraordinary customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to wear many hats and juggle a wide variety of projects and responsibilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Must be able to communicate concepts, procedures, and systems needed clearly to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5% of the time
