About the role: 

We are looking for a Windows System Administrator to help manage and maintain our windows OS across Cruise as an integral member of our IT engineering team.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Endpoint management for windows clients.
  • Patching, Application deployments, Security posturing
  • Escalation point for IT operations
  • Familiar with using and establishing group policies
  • Support DNS and DHCP
  • Ownership of Windows OS
  • Run imaging solution for windows and linux

You should apply for this role if you have the following qualifications:

  • 4+ years supporting IT in an enterprise environment similar to Cruise
  • Deep familiarity with Windows operating systems
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts
  • Proven ability to provide hands­ on support and diagnose technical issues across a variety of different platforms
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and self ­manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience understanding complex issues, and explaining them in terms appropriate for the customer (whether technical or non­technical)
  • Desire to provide a fantastic level of customer service and satisfaction

Bonus points!

  • Experience in MacOS and/or Linux
  • Familiarity with active directory
  • Experience with Okta management
