Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Performance characterization and benchmarking for variety of machine learning accelerators (GPU, FPGA, ASIC etc)
  • Performance analysis for heterogeneous compute architectures and embedded solutions
  • Adapt existing software models to run on different accelerator architectures
  • Performance benchmarking for x86 and ARM-based architectures
  • Optimize utilization of compute resources, identify and resolve dataflow bottlenecks
  • Optimize and automate processes wherever possible
  • Work cross-functionally between software and hardware teams

You should apply for this role if you have the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in hardware or computer engineering
  • 3+ years of experience with benchmarking and validating performance for complex compute architectures
  • Proficiency with C++ and Python
  • Experience with machine learning and classification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Bonus points!

  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Experience with perception algorithms/models
  • Experience with TensorFlow

  • Experience with CUDA
