About the role:

We are looking for a manager of the IT Engineering team to join our team in San Francisco! You'll be working on building out our Infrastructure projects needed to help power our autonomous vehicle operations. Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Responsible for growing and developing a team of engineers
  • Work with technical lead(s) to set the technical direction for the team, and anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges
  • Manage progress of technical projects from start to finish
  • Lead the team to build helpdesk focused tools to improve efficiency around the most common requests/incidents
  • Develop automation workflows and integrations to make our applications work better
  • Own corporate identity through access, authentication, and authorization with Okta, Active Directory, and other tools.
  • Identify ways to improve efficiency and scale services leveraging tools and automation.
  • Support compliance standards (data backup and recovery/DLP)
  • Work with Infrastructure, Security and other teams to drive better security practices across our applications and implement solutions to increase productivity for IT and end users.
  • Document and maintain Client operating procedures, best practices and customer service KPIs.
  • Participate in on-boarding, training and mentoring team members.
  • Manage the hiring and performance management for the IT Engineering team


  • 5+ years in a hands-on technical environment managing SaaS applications
  • 2+ years managing a team of engineers
  • Experience with one or more scripting/coding languages (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc.)
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, handle and complete multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail with a passion for thorough systems documentation.
