What’s the role?

One part of our Digital Experience Platform is our Content-Management-System (CMS) "FirstSpirit". We're looking for individuals to join our Professional Services team and become experts in FirstSpirit project implementations. As a crucial part of our team, you'll leverage your deep knowledge and broad experience to craft sustainable solutions that meet our DXP (Digital Experience Platform) customers' requirements effectively.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate - Work closely with customers and partners to comprehend their project needs and create tailored solutions within their FirstSpirit projects.
  • Develop - Craft mechanisms and structures that enable our customers to efficiently manage their CMS content. This also includes creating editors' forms with input components, validation rules and corresponding output logic (e.g., HTML).
  • Extend – Implement customer-specific FirstSpirit extensions using Java to allow our customers to integrate their project specific requirements, processes and third-party applications.
  • Training - Provide comprehensive technical training sessions for our customers' and partners' developers in both German and English languages.
  • Communicate - Actively engage in dialogue to discuss implementation ideas and promptly address emerging project challenges in a constructive and solution-oriented manner.

Who are you?

We don't believe in ticking boxes here at Crownpeak.

Here are a few skills that we feel would make you successful in the role, but we’d still love to hear from you if you feel you’d be a great fit.

  • Experience in Java programming, with no specific framework knowledge required.
  • Knowledge in the realm of frontend technologies and development, particularly JavaScript. Preferably, you also have experience in REST-APIs, PWAs/SPAs and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Fluent in both English and German, with a minimum proficiency level of B2, preferably C1.
  • Ability to articulate technically and/or professionally complex issues at a level appropriate to the audience.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, motivation to learn, and openness to others' ideas and feedback.

It would also be a plus if you had:

  • You have a degree in the field of IT or a comparable education.
  • Practical experience in at least one current project procedure model, such as agile or classic, within software development.
