In this role you will have the opportunity to be part of a global Engineering team and work across various areas of our business. You will gain exposure to all stages of the project life-cycle from pre-sales engineering and design, pricing and estimation and project delivery within a range of our industrial, commercial and retail clients.
Complete energy reviews and work with energy analyst team to develop monitoring and verification plans
Work with cross functional teams such as mechanical, electrical, process, thermal, refrigeration, software, IT, automation and instrumentation
Generate design specifications, detailed scope of work documents, test protocols and test reports for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications
Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software
Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects
Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques
Pricing & Estimation
Preparation of estimates
Analysis of engineering drawings
Preparation of sub-contractor and supplier enquiries and contract documents
Supporting the Management of Energy Efficiency projects incl. assigning, scheduling, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, reviewing job expectations and ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
Building project schedules: contribute information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; coordinate internal activities and sub-contractor actions with relevant teams, schedule installations
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Process, Electrical or similar
- Internship or work experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Intermediate Level & above of Excel / Google Sheets experience a must
- Inquisitive nature to drill down into details and apply logical reasoning to problems and solutions
- Willingness to adapt to new disciplines
- Ability to prioritize given tasks.
Location: This position will be based in Crowley Carbon’s Powerscourt House office in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow. The role will involve international travel to customer sites
