Role Mission

To support and contribute to the SEA business strategy, serving as one of the key pillars to SEA 5YP by establishing and optimizing distributors’ wholesale/retail/ecommerce sales and productivity through partnering and leading these distributors’ towards achieving top-class operations and optimized business/ stores’ productivity and performance (Revenue, Financial Profitability, KPI).

To enhance SEA markets’ trade by exploiting/ capitalizing on markets’ opportunity and white spaces/ gaps penetration, resulting in incremental business.

To facilitate and act as the “bridge” between internal HEYDUDE functions and distributors’  team, in ensuring all learning and implementation of HEYDUDE’s brand/  best practices (Customers Services, VM & Store Maintenance) towards delivery of superior consumer’s brand/ experiences, standardize for leverages in all processes and practices in SEA markets.

 

Key Process Accountabilities

  • To work with the respective SEA distributors, their teams and internal HEYDUDE stakeholders to
    • Optimize the performance of the distributors’ store network, including delivering revenue comps, and profitability plans.
    • Optimize distributors’ portfolio, working closely with distributors, real estate and multi-brand chains in siting, store layout/ format and operations to achieve targeted
    • To plan and execute SEA GTM calendar and any campaigns in SEA markets/ channel through best practice sharing and coaching.
    • To maintain and execute SEA individual market’s calendar to support planned performance
    • To provide all required inputs and insights on performance to the key stakeholders*, to enable on going improvements in assortment, marketing and promotions, visual merchandising and store operations (including KPI’s). (*HEYDUDE and Distributor’s - Merchandising, Marketing, Operations & Visual Merchandising teams)
    • Optimize SEA market’s business with periodic internal/ external business review on focus topics of markets’ store expansion and current store performance to exploit market opportunity and white spaces/ gaps.
    • To facilitate and provide support in the organization and execution of regional conventions and training.
    • Develop strategic alliances with Global Key Accounts to drive brand share within their businesses across the SEA region.

 

Deliverables and Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue & Growth – performance versus Plan, comp. store performance/ trend.
  •  Profitability – Channel/ Account/ Store Performance versus Plan/ Trending.
  •  Productivity/ benchmarking - Channel/ Account/ Store PSF performance vs competition/ store (MB).
  • Managing under-performing areas of the business – planning and improving revenue and profitability for stores performing below mandated thresholds.
  •  KPI’s (Shared accountability) –traffic, Conversion %, UPT, ASP, SOH and mix
  • Ecommerce implementation and partnership within SEA
  • Ecommerce marketplace rollout and align with HEYDUDE guidelines

 

Functional Competencies

  • Fully conversant with retail and ecommerce best practices and deep understanding of both retail and ecommerce landscape.
  • Sound understanding of regional ecommerce marketplace and its developments.
  • Deep understanding of the regional consumer trends and behavior and the ability to influence/ partner with stakeholders to build actions that influence the same.
  • Externally focused, with sound knowledge of competition and the ability to measure competitive activities against HEYDUDE’ own efforts in relevant areas (of merchandise, promotions, Visual Merchandising, store locations/ openings etc.)
  • Strong people management skills especially with external 3rd parties team, with the ability to drive performance.

 

Job Requirement

  • Diploma/Degree in related discipline. 
  • A minimum of 3-5 years or relevant experience, including at least 2 years in similar capacity.
  • Experience in working closely with regional Key Accounts.
  • Ability to understand and interpret market trends.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to run the business by the numbers.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Good Negotiation skills.
  • Action oriented and deadline focused.
