Job Purpose (Responsibility)

To contribute to the business strategy and cost saving initiative, managing the D&L team for both of inbound and outbound, inventory management, value added service, and various operations, cooperating with various team to analyze and review the shipping units, budgeting for the D&L cost and update every quarter, define the country D&L strategic goals and implementing programs, align with country sales goals, through promptly anticipating and managing operations, control 3PL, NVOCC, customs brokers and trade compliance, meet government regulations.

Job Description:

D&L Strategy Management

  • Own & integrate D&L plans with business plans, support business to engage with Customers with cost effective supply chain & distribution solution offering
  • Manage the country D&L operations, including 3PL management, meet P&L budget & internal/external SLA/KPI for warehousing, international and domestic transportation, RFQ
  • Ensure ops/system processes, SLA/KPI are updated, documented, reviewed & signed off with stakeholders

D&L Performance Management

  • Data analytics, reporting, reviews & continuous improvement to drive down total landed costs and improve customer fulfilment and service level agreement (SLA)
  • Keep abreast of market developments and apply best practices in the local operations
  • Lead all D&L initiatives and programs for Australia, including logistics systems design, deployment, issues resolution, support and enhancement

People Management & Engagement

  • Coach and develop the team, grow D&L expertise in the country, and establish back-up/succession plans
  • Support the global/region D&L initiatives and be the go-to person for all D&L matters to distribute products in the timeliest, cost efficient and compliance manner
  • Working across function to optimize the inventory, and to right size the DC to meet fulfilment and cost targets

Trading compliance Management

  • Support the import/export clearance process in liaison with Crocs Trade Compliance team
  • Managing customs broker and applying for the duty on royalty reconciliation

Quality Assurance Support

  • Support the region QA team to control the quality of products. Classification of quality grade, support of the quality rework using resources from distribution center

Job Requirements:

  • University Degree in any general discipline
  • 8-10 years’ experience in D&L with 3-5years’ managerial experience, e-commerce & retail industry preferred
  • Freight & warehouse, provider management, contracting & negotiation skills
  • Good analytical skills using MS Excel, continuous improvement, across country/culture
  • Good people management and task management skills.
  • Clear written/ spoke communication skill including English
  • Independent, collaborative, ability to work and manage upwards/downwards
  • Based in Melbourne, should be able to have overseas travel
