This position is part of a team responsible for accounting and compliance of Crocs entities. This includes maintenance of an accurate and timely system of accounting which includes a comprehensive set of internal controls, preparing periodic financial reports, working with external auditors and supporting the business by providing reliable data.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
•Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures •Journal entry preparation and review •Reconciliation of sub ledgers and general ledger accounts •Primary administrator of reconciliation software •Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and timely •Ensure that at period-end all assets and liabilities are recorded accurately •Ability to comprehend complex accounting topics and resolve appropriate treatment as required under US GAAP •Perform adhoc duties and analysis as needed to support corporate and regional functions •Lead various projects as assigned and continuously find ways to improve departmental quality through crafting efficiencies, streamlining repetitive processes and using technology •Maintain documentation in compliance with internal and external requirements ensuring adherence to SOX controls •Maintain detailed policies and procedures •Work collaboratively with regional and global accounting team members •Collaborate with shared service partners and other third-party business support partners •Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Payroll, Tax, and Supply Chain teams
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA a plus •5+ years in a relevant field •Technical knowledge of US GAAP •Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP and Oracle a plus •Experience with SOX / Internal Controls •Strong analytical skills •Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Minimal, but able to travel if need arises
