Job Summary

Crocs Japan is hiring an E-Commerce Onsite Manager to grow revenues and improve customer experience of Japan’s .Com store.  This critically important leadership position will plan and execute the Japan’s localized Go To Market (GTM) plan which includes world-class onsite merchandising, branded product stories, promotional calendar and personalized shopping experiences. Qualified candidates should possess strong onsite merchandising experience and analytical skills to drive consumer shopping behavior.  This role requires strong cross functional business relationships with Japan’s Merchandising, Digital Marketing and Brand Marketing teams, as well as global GTM stakeholders.  This role will manage 2-3 direct reports and reports to the Senior Director Digital, North Asia who is also based in Tokyo.


Primary Job Duties

  • Own the coordination and execution of the end-to-end E-Commerce GTM plan for .Com by partnering with Merchandising, Marketing, CRM and other key stakeholders
  • Achieve revenue and margin growth targets by creating and executing a strategy that balances global branding and product stories with localized onsite merchandising, promotions, discounts, segmented shopping experiences
  • Work closely with Merchandising and Digital Marketing to lead the weekly cycle of learning from previous actions and proposing improvements to optimize performance, based on analysis, customer insights and AB testing
  • As needed, actively participate and support the growth of Crocs on marketplaces (Rakuten, Zozo, Amazon, etc.) by coordinating product assortment, pricing, promotions, etc. and supporting execution
  • Manage and develop team of 2-3 direct reports
  • Assess and implement best practices from global and regional teams


Job Requirements

Minimum Education: University bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum Experience:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • 5+ years experience in E-Commerce

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar enterprise e-commerce platform
  • Experience using Adobe Analytics (Omniture) or similar analytics tools
  • Strong project and time management skills, willing to take initiative and give clear directions to team
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys work effectively with multiple cross-functional groups
  • Track record of succeeding in a results driven environment
  • Willingness to try new ideas for storytelling, promotions, CRM activities to grow the business
  • Commercial and analytical mindset, detail oriented and capable to create sales forecasts
  • Language: Fluent Japanese. Business English (actively participate in meetings with global teams)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.)
