SUMMARY

The Planner is a cross-functional collaborator who is responsible for in-season sales forecasting, inventory management, and weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting.  This role will execute the merchandise plan that supports the seasonal initiatives and financial objectives for the channel and will require an intimate knowledge of product as well as an understanding of the channel go-to-market strategy. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete monthly forecast submissions for the eCommerce channel (sales plan & buy plan).
  • Manage OTB template & monitor inventory on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to deliver on sales plans while maintaining appropriate in stocks
  • Populate weekly business recaps for merchant team: sell through, executive summary, promo recaps, and inventory recaps.
  • Work cross-functionally with the regional demand & supply teams to give input/direction for future orders, transfers, etc.
  • Execute product pricing in Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • Provide the distribution center with a daily unit plan for the eCommerce business.
  • Manage product delivery for marketing creative and maintain product availability for features
  • Clearly communicate across all groups within eCommerce, act as a trusted resource for information.
  • Build seasonal post-mortems for the merchandising team.
  • Act as team lead in implementation of new planning tool.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS in business, merchandising, or related field.
  • 2+ years of merchandising planning and/or inventory management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (specifically Excel) and Google docs.
  • Self-starter who works well in a demanding, fast-paced, and high performance environment.
  • Excellent time management, communication (written & verbal) and organization skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, globally, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willing and able to learn and have fun!
