SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Digital Art Director, the Senior Digital Designer will design and execute visual concepts and ideas that represent the highest global standards of the Crocs brand. This position will lead a team in designing creative executions for Dynamic Content Optimization (DCO) advertising, retail and wholesale digital media, as well as create front end development and implement motion design into digital channels. The Senior Digital Designer will mentor and manage junior graphic designers, providing regular direction, support and feedback. They will meet with global marketing strategists to comprehend the DCO scope and targeted affinity and sub-segment groups — exploring a variety of layout options that are not only visually compelling but represent the brand and global seasonal campaign. This role will be responsible for executing global digital ad layouts while collaborating with team members to apply regional translations and ensure final files are delivered to the appropriate vendor, partner or application. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design/Creative

  • Develop digital marketing materials that accurately reflect brand positioning
  • Maintain, support and elevate global brand standards
  • Develop new digital content creation for website elements and eCommerce marketing initiatives (ex. Onsite creative, landing pages, etc.)
  • Help develop and implement Global Digital Content & Creative Strategy and ensure content is syndicated globally
  • Responsible for coding campaign elements and implementing new technologies and animations for digital applications
  • Work closely with internal partners and digital vendors on asset specifications to ensure quality control
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of creative software (includes Adobe Creative Suite) and market trends
  • Possess initiative to volunteer, support and assist creative team when necessary
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Production

  • Review final creative work from junior graphic designers, identify corrections or revisions, and obtain client approvals
  • Prepare and package final, high-quality files
  • Maintain an advanced level of meticulous and organizational skills with high-volume projects
  • Partner with translators to provide global regions accurate and successful marketing materials
  • Deliver client files effectively, quickly and within approved deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5-7 experience
  • Experience coding HTML 5
  • Well-versed in responsive design, UI/UX best practices and wireframing
  • Expert level competencies within Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Must be organized and able to maintain project, artwork and photography naming conventions
  • Interested in exploring motion design paradigms with modern web technologies
  • Interested in pushing the boundaries of web browsers for creative/interactive media purposes
  • Must be flexible and able to accept and apply necessary critique and feedback
