Role Mission:


This role helps to drive globally aligned merchandising vision for Crocs, the industry-leading casual footwear brand specializing in comfortable, fun, innovative and irreverent product lines designed to surprise and delight our millions of loyal Crocs fans and future Crocs fans.

As a Merchandising Manager of E-Commerce, you are responsible for creating a vision for the consumer by bringing together brand creative, marketing initiatives, UX and product.


Key Activities:

1. Product Vision + Revenue Plan :

  • Help to design seasonal events calendar and execute with product and promotional plan to meet revenue and product margin targets
  • Product SME: understand purpose, consumer, end use and how to leverage sales

  • Expert in market landscape and predicts future opportunities while growing revenue in current

  • Together with team to analyze business performance and formulate a go forward plan, understand ec channels, specially TMall.

  • Provide input to budget planning with detailed bottoms up merchandising plan and highlight any opportunities and risks

  • Approach all tasks with the consumer in mind, ensure we continue exciting our consumers in store

2. Segmentation

  • Manage assortment for all Crocs product lines in line with global guidelines and go-to-market calendar, ensuring a consistent look, feel and product representation
  • Manage seasonal business plans and assortment framework, project long term product and sales implications and leverage product cycle

  • Key member in seasonal go-to-market process: tie together with team in the planned product launch

  • Work cross-functionally with merchants in Retail and Wholesale to establish a consistent omni-channel approach for assortment, pricing, pricing set up in alignment to the regional pricing matrix and promotional cadence

3. Commercial vision & customer experience


  • Focus on activities to directly and positively impact conversion and AOV across both mobile and desktop experiences

  • Regular store visits to evaluate macro environment and learnings for improvement of assortment, pricing and promotions


Job Requirements:


  • Education:Bachelor degree
  • Experience:5+ years in merchandise planning and/or buying within a direct to consumer environment; e-commerce is a plus.
  • Knowledge:

       -    Strong understanding of market competition, consumer and market trends, independently utilize resources to increase knowledge

       -    Understanding of content management software and processes for sophisticated merchandising placement

       -    Strong organizational and analytical skill

       -    Ability to take initiative for projects and adapt quickly to changes

       -    Proven ability to successfully work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment

       -    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel. Power Point, Word). Advance knowledge of Excel preferred

       -    High energy, high initiative, decisive and confident;

       -    Excellent communication skills, fluent in English required;

       -    Ability to simplify complex messages and influence ideas and initiatives throughout all levels of the organization
