Role Mission:

  

This role will form an integral part of the Matches Merchandising Team by effectively and systematically providing accurate information for planning, support to drive the merchandising vision in the Wholesale Partner Store channel in the market for Crocs, the industry-leading casual footwear brand specializing in comfortable, fun, innovative and irreverent product lines designed to surprise and delight our millions of loyal Crocs fans and future Crocs fans.

  

 

Key Process Accountabilities

1. Merchandising and planning

  

  • Merchandise the assigned lines to hit seasonal target margin and revenue plan as determined by GM

  • Merchandise and implement directed assortments for target consumers and partner store at a store type level in alignment with our brand vision

  • Plan buys and forecasts by account and store using the partner store directed assortment and OTB model, in line with the financial targets and commercial team

  • Collaborate with the buyer and wholesale commercial teams on promotional cadence to drive product margin and inventory targets utilizing product mix and partner store types.

2. Product

  

  • Product database collection and analysis, make ST analysis report and action plan

  • Merchandise product stories by store type to align with regional and global marketing

  • Internal communication for all product related issues cross department

  • Work with commercial team to communicate key product/collections stories, present product and support directed assortment sell-in and planned buys to our partners

3. Others

  

  • Create Partner Store seasonal forecasts and buy plans per store type in coordination with Merchandising Planner, considering partner store inventory.

  • Get deep understanding about market via market visit and competitor research

  • Other tasks assigned by line manager

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or above
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years above merchandising working experience for shoes or apparel
  • Knowledge:

       -    Strong understanding of market competition and analytical skills;

       -    Knowledge of fashion/trends with the ability to translate into commercial concepts

       -    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word). Advanced knowledge of Excel preferred

  • Interpersonal Skill:

       -    Excellent communication, writing, presentation, teamwork and relationship building skills are critical

       -    Ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environment

       -    Self-motivated and willing to take challenge

       -    Proven ability to successfully work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment
