Role Mission:

The Senior E-commerce Merchandising Manager drives the globally aligned merchandising vision for Crocs Korea.  This role is responsible for creating a vision for the consumer by bringing together brand creative, marketing initiatives, UX and product. This person is also a cross-functional collaborator who oversees sales forecasting, assortment planning and inventory management in order to meet the financial goals of the E-commerce organization.

 

Key Process Accountabilities

Key Activities

1.       Planning & Forecasting

 

-          Understand consumers’ needs and translate this knowledge into intelligent and realistic product plans.

-          Responsible for curating consumer-right assortments using the Global Must Buy and Elective seasonal assortments.

-          Accountable for creating accurate Merchandise Sales forecasts in alignment with top line financial plans to enable the Ecommerce channel to meet its revenue, product margin and inventory plans.

-          Responsible for dynamically managing on hand inventory levels, including end of life products. Ensuring full transparency on liquidation strategy and flagging any business risk.

2.       Promotion planning

 

-          Support the E-commerce Planner by providing the seasonal assortment framework and in-season initiatives to meet revenue, product margin and inventory targets.

-          Responsible for the assortment, sales and promotions from seasonal plan to product disposition

3.       Pricing

-          Establish market right initial pricing, mark down cadence, and manage and plan for promotional activity together with the E-commerce Commercial Lead.

 

4.       Management & Communication

 

-          Have overall responsibility for product margin and drive success through management of product mix and promotional cadence.

-          Maintain consumer focused by utilizing consumer insights, conducting in-store walk-throughs and click-throughs and keeping abreast of market macro environment shifts and trends.

-          Complete regular analysis of in-season performance, communicate with comprehension to all stakeholders including Regional/Global teams, and play forward learnings into future forecasts.

-          Oversee (and execute) all daily merchandising

activities. Tasks to include but are not limited to:

product information and pricing, taxonomy,

product ranking, and onsite search.

-          Partner with the Region to ensure alignment to

both Regional and Global strategy.

-          Possess strong communication skills

Job Requirements:

Education

Degree in any general discipline.

Experience

5+ years in merchandise planning and/or buying within a direct to consumer environment

Knowledge

- Digital commerce strategies and tactics

- Identify and leverage emerging trends and best practices in the marketplace to ensure the most effective site merchandising and consumer experience

- Understanding of content management software and processes for sophisticated merchandising placements

- Strong understanding of market competition, consumer and market trends

- Strong organizational and analytical skills

- Ability to independently utilize resources to increase knowledge

- Ability to take initiative and adapt quickly to changes

- Proven ability to successfully work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel. Power Point, Word). Advance knowledge of Excel preferred
