Key Lead position in the Financial Shared Service (FSS) organization responsible for the strategic as well as day-to-day operations of the North American ( NAM) Accounts Payable function at Crocs.

This role is responsible for managing Croc’s NAM Accounts Payable function including development and execution of accounting PTP processes and managing a relationship with internal customers as well as third party service providers.  This is an excellent opportunity to join Crocs in a highly visible and impactful position touching multiple departments. 


  • Plays a lead role in month end financial close activities and oversees the day-to-day Accounts Payable activities (Invoice processing, Payments, GRIR, Indirect procurement process, etc.).
  • Provides instructional guidance to internal customers (Regional and Corporate Accounting teams, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, etc.) as well as other team members (FSS staff and Accenture).
  • Develop, implement and manage existing and new processes within the PTP function in coordination with the Global PTP Process Owner
  • Responsible for ensuring and maintaining user compliance to policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with business finance teams to resolve any process issues and manage escalations
  • Implement a formal training program for internal customers, particularly for new hires, on the indirect procurement process
  • On-site subject matter expert to assist PO requestors with urgent issues and other adhoc AP inquiries
  • Provides audit support including input and commentary
  • Ensures proper internal controls are implemented and adhered to
  • Is an active member of the Global Finance and Controllership teams by contributing to team initiatives
  • Provides cross-functional coordination and subject matter expertise for the PTP function within FSS and IT in the development, testing and implementation of system process improvements


  • Bachelors, or equivalent; and at least 2 years of experience
  • Proven track record of leading internal and external (offshore) resources
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
  • Must have hands on and roll up your sleeves management style
  • Strong understanding of accounting procedures and systems pertaining to area of responsibility. SAP experience is a must and BPC, BW and DFM are a plus
  • Experience with third party systems and solutions, preferably GTN and Concur
  • Experience with 1099 requirements and preparation
  • Cross-functional enterprise understanding and the ability to lead cross-functional projects
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
  • Proven performance in running administrative support services
  • Very detail oriented and skilled at multi-tasking to complete several deadlines accurately and on time
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Ability to travel
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Tools
