What You Will Be Doing

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive the strategy and execution of the Crypto and Stocks product lines for Chipper.

You will be tasked with expanding the user base of the assigned Product lines' product offering and services from both existing Chipper users and from new users.

You will be responsible for communicating the features and benefits of our products & services through compelling storytelling to drive adoption and engagement. You will partner with many cross-functional teams, including Product, Data Science, Design, and Engineering, to offer suggestions for improving the product to ensure its rapid growth.

As PMM (Crypto and Stocks), you will:

  • Drive the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for Chipper's Crypto and Stocks products across marketing channels
  • Grow users from Chipper's ecosystem through user segmentation, product cross-sell, and product offerings integration to drive adoption and usage of the Crypto and Stocks product lines
  • Discover user pain points, user behavior, market opportunities, and competitor activity.
  • Develop value proposition and messaging frameworks, and drive articulation of product portfolio positioning aligned to Chipper’s key goals
  • Design reward systems to increase engagement, retention of existing users, and attract new users
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on competitive landscape and feedback from customer
  • Work with our CRM team to test & scale marketing tactics across owned channels (in-app, notifications, and email)
  • Determine success metrics for launch, growth, and adoption. Reporting this data back to the team. Every decision you make is backed up with research or data.

What You Should Have

  • 2+ years of proven success in product marketing and operation, eg. operation campaign design, content marketing, user journey mapping, email marketing, user segmentation, top of funnel growth, and funnel optimization
  • Strong knowledge of the cryptocurrency and stocks industry ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of the African Crypto and Stocks market and how users interact with other similar products
  • Strong written communication capacity and interpersonal skills: be able to build and manage strong relationships with their team, cross-functional colleagues, and external partners. Inspirational to your team and partners
  • Extensive experience setting strategic direction and project managing complex go-to-market campaigns that require input and execution from various cross-functional teams
  • A data-focused individual with the ability to roll up your sleeves, pull and analyze data, and gain actionable insights from the data
  • Comfortable with SQL
  • Ability to conduct relevant research and gain actionable insights
  • User-focused and product-driven: strong understanding of product, tech, and platform
