The Revenue Operations Data Analyst will sit at the heart of Chipper’s Revenue group. He/she will work directly with the COO, VP of Revenue and other business team members to use data and analysis to help us better uncover insights into our business drivers and deliver on our business objectives. He/she will also collaborate closely with Chipper’s Data Science, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure relevant data sources and analyses are being taken into account.  As our first Rev Ops Data Analyst hire, you will be an integral member of the Revenue team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create effective approaches to business analyses, establish key metrics, determine baselines/goals for major initiatives (e.g. quarterly OKRs) and for specific projects. 
  • Collaborate with VP Revenue and cross-functional teams to define key metrics to measure different aspects of the business.
  • Develop Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and analytics dashboards. Maintain and create new dashboards to track metrics and visualise insights according to needs of the business.
  • Partner with other teams to set up and onboard dashboards, train for self-sufficiency on usage and standard reporting, and field requests for more complex requests.
  • Execute on deep-dive analytical projects to help leadership and wider business understand root causes or trends for selected metrics. Analyze historical data to track performance, identifying levers for change, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports for leadership to support ongoing decision making.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis where required.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience working directly with cross-functional stakeholders such as finance, data science, and product teams to develop approaches to business analyses. Preferred experience in revenue operations.
  • 1+ years experience in developing reports and dashboard with leading Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or Mode using SQL
  • Advanced SQL writing skills or other Big Data software
  • Previous experience working with a technology/software company or with an understanding of the various corporate and business cultures across multiple regions.
  • Experience in applying data analysis to solve business problems in complex, fast-moving, and ambiguous business environments.
  • Insight and analytical skills beyond data visualization - synthesizing information to extract key insights and business implications
  • Ability to lead projects independently - Demonstrated experience making commitments, setting priorities, and delivering results on time.
  • Ability to partner with all levels of the organization, including senior leaders and cross-functional team members
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate (both oral and written) in an asynchronous environment
