We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Writer  to work for our client in Brussels, Belgium. 

Description of tasks:

  • Gain a deep understanding of applications and services, and translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.
  •  Produce high-quality documentation for Service Management and Information Systems.
  • Write easy-to-understand texts, user manuals, and provide online help for web documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (such as Product Managers, Software Developers, and Service Delivery Managers) and participate in releases and sprint reviews.
  • Participate in the Quality Management Process.

Knowledge and skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Information Technology, or a related field (A Master's degree is preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer in IT Support Services.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing IT documentation tools such as ServiceNow, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and French is mandatory, with a required C1 certification for English.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of IT terminology and concepts, enabling swift comprehension of intricate technical information.
  • Proven ability to rapidly grasp complex technical concepts and convey them in easily understandable terms.
  • Possesses a service-oriented mindset and it is at ease with performing within an international/multicultural setting
