In a significant step towards transforming the digital workspace for the Directorate-General for Informatics (DIGIT) at the European Commission, VASS is seeking a dedicated Project Manager. This role is central to managing an essential project focused on organization, planning, and digital transformation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and execution of project charters, work plans, strategic, and organizational plans.
- Manage tasks and resources during sprint cycles, ensuring priorities are met and deliverables are achieved.
- Oversee sprint meetings, quality checks, and risk assessments, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder approval.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation and storage of project deliverables and continuous improvement of project management processes.
- Spearhead the project's logistics, end-user support, and digital workspace transformation efforts.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably within IT support and digital transformation contexts.
- Proficient with SharePoint, JIRA, and the Microsoft Office suite, including Visio.
- Fluent in English and French (min. C1 level)
- Demonstrated customer service excellence, alongside stellar communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Agile mindset, solution-oriented, with exceptional organizational skills, able to work under pressure.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with EU institutions and prior experience with the European Commission are highly advantageous.
- Technical background in service domains, ITIL 4, and Agile certifications are preferred.
