Job Description:
VASS IT GREECE is in search of a skilled and seasoned Web Application Developer to join our dynamic team. This remote position allows you to work from any EU country while actively participating in diverse projects for EU agencies and organizations in Greece and Saudi Arabia. As a key contributor, you will leverage your expertise in Angular, Typescript, React.js, Node.js, and other technologies to craft innovative web applications. Additionally, you will take on the role of Scrum Master, ensuring efficient collaboration and project delivery within an Agile framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular, Typescript, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
- Write code that is efficient, maintainable, and aligns with best practices in software development, object-oriented programming, and test-driven development.
- Utilize SQL databases (Oracle and MySQL) for designing and optimizing database schemas and queries
- Create unit tests using Angular CLI to guarantee application reliability
- Manage version control through GitLab & Bitbucket, ensuring a smooth and collaborative development process in a remote environment
- Serve as a Scrum Master, leading Agile methodologies using Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence) & GitLab, and facilitating Scrum ceremonies for effective collaboration
- Demonstrate proficiency in REST API development to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge and skills to enhance the development process.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Typescript, Angular
- Strong experience in Git version control, with familiarity in GitLab & Bitbucket
- Solid understanding of MySQL and Oracle Database, including database design and optimization
- Expertise in REST API development and integration
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum Master responsibilities in a remote work setting
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering high-quality software solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment
Plus Points: - Familiarity with React.js, Node.js, Express.js
- Knowledge of containerization technologies
- Understanding of Micro-frontends
- Application performance optimization
- Experience with Karma, Jest
- Proficiency in Advanced CSS
- Cloud development experience (AWS)
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch.
