In this pivotal security position, you'll blend technical expertise with customer acumen to engage in complex global legal and security reviews for existing customers and prospects. Your role will be instrumental in articulating Cribl's robust security program across diverse industries and regions, ensuring clear and accurate communication that fosters trust and confidence.​

If you’ve got it - we want it:

  • Lead Complex Customer Security Questionnaire Reviews: Facilitate and manage in-depth security assessments with Cribl's global customers and prospects, ensuring timely and thorough completion of security questionnaires and evaluations.​
  • Collaborate with Legal on contract negotiations: Work closely with the Legal team to negotiate and refine security and compliance terms within Cribl's subscription agreements, ensuring alignment with both company standards and client expectations.​
  • Support Sales with Security Expertise: Enable the go to market  teams by addressing customer security inquiries, assisting with security questionnaires, and participating in information-security discussions to bolster customer relationships.​
  • Maintain Security public documentation: Develop, update, and manage customer-facing security and compliance documents and white papers, as well as manage and maintain the content of the Cribl Trust portal to broker transparency, accuracy, and currency of information
  • Advocate for  Customer Feedback to Product Teams: Relay customer-generated security and compliance requests to the product management and product-security teams, contributing to the continuous enhancement of Cribl's offerings.​
  • Educate Internal Teams on Security Practices: Design and deliver enablement sessions on security and compliance topics to various internal departments, including Sales, Customer Success, and Sales Engineering, promoting a culture of security awareness.​
  • Champion Cribl’s Security Initiatives: Create and present materials that highlight the integration of Cribl's products within its own security program, demonstrating practical applications and benefits to customers and stakeholders.​

 

As an active member of our team, you will bring:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.​
    Extensive Experience: Over 10 years in a global software or SaaS enterprise environment with a strong focus on security and compliance.​
  • Customer Engagement Expertise: 6-8 years of experience delivering presentations to C-level executives and technical experts, demonstrating the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts.​
  • In-Depth Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of current security risks, frameworks, and industry trends, enabling proactive and informed decision-making.​
  • Adaptability: A demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and evolving security landscapes.​
  • Executive Communication Skills: Proven ability to navigate and lead discussions with internal executives and customer CISOs/CIOs, ensuring alignment and addressing concerns adeptly.​
  • Strong Communication Abilities: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences across multiple organizational levels and functions.​
  • Willingness to Travel: Readiness to travel domestically and internationally as required to meet business and client needs.​
  • Compliance Framework Familiarity: Knowledge of various compliance frameworks and security certifications, including but not limited to SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP.​
  • Independent and Team-Oriented Work Ethic: Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in collaborative team environments.​
