About This Role:
The Senior DevOps Engineer leads the design, implementation, and management of Crexi’s development and operations pipelines. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, drives continuous improvement, and mentors team members to ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems.
What You'll Do:
- Implements and manages CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software releases.
- Understands SDLC and automation tools and framework.
- Designs, develops, and implements software integrations based on requirements.
- Troubleshoots production issues and coordinates with engineering team to streamline code deployment.
- Builds harnesses for integration pipelines & production validation testing.
- Remains up to date and knowledgeable of new technologies and potential business partners.
- Recommends and maintains technical design methodologies, troubleshooting, processes, and standards.
- Proactively identifies and resolves key technical issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
- 5 + years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, application development, or operations.
- Working knowledge of enterprise data center technologies including storage platforms, network switching, and security infrastructure within a virtualized data center.
- Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes
- Strong understanding of application development methodologies.
- Adept at evaluating problems accurately and displaying sound judgment.
- Scripting (shell, python, ruby) skills for monitoring and automation.
- Continuous integration tools such as TeamCity and Jenkins
- Experience optimizing applications, both stand-alone and in distributed systems to maximize performance.
- Experience maintaining an infrastructure and ensuring stability while adding new features.
- Ability to clearly articulate design and implementation choices.
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
- Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
- Possess a strong grasp of automation tools.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in our Playa Vista, California location is $155,000 to $212,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience applicable to the role and within the industry, education, geographic location, etc. Commercial Real Estate Exchange, Inc (“Crexi”) is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
