About this Role:

The Vice President, Head of Product will report to the Chief Technology Officer and will drive the evolution of products in alignment with company objectives. You will be responsible for delivering a compelling and differentiated product roadmap, while overseeing execution through the lifecycle of the business by aligning stakeholders to ensure customer success and financial goals are met.

What You'll Do:

  • Stellar communication skills are the foundation of success in this role; inspire and motivate your team and the broader company through effective articulation of vision and plans; play a key role in strategic engagements with customers, partners, and industry analysts
  • Enable, motivate, and engage product management and product design teams to create alignment and drive execution; effectively mentor, inspire and grow members of your team; Recruit, and retain exceptional product management talent
  •  Lead your team to develop and execute on a clear and differentiated strategy; define and deliver on an innovative product roadmap across the product line(s); Build scalable processes that provide guidance to how product operates
  • Continuously manage and oversee product roadmap execution; coordinate between commercial teams (sales, marketing, services) and product and development teams to ensure clarity of priorities and market feedback reflected in sprint planning
  • Enable sales and marketing with training and updates on products and help advance sales and marketing initiatives. Support sales during sales cycles with product knowledge and demos; Support strategic technology partnership negotiation and management. Work with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to drive customer adoption
  • Conduct regular customer validation and gather product usage insights directly and indirectly via your team. Conduct research and analysis to deeply understand our customers and their customers and surface the most critical problems to solve
  • In partnership with engineering leadership, support the CTO and VP of Engineering to build and scale a development team that will enable the execution of the strategy

Who You Are: 

  • Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science and/or Engineering
  • 15+ years of Product Management experience in high growth environments. Direct experience leading at senior management levels. Brings seasoned perspective and offers variety of approaches to challenges and opportunities that are new to Crexi
  • Deep experience with complex technology SaaS products in the ecosystem of Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
  • Considerable experience working in software development, with a good understanding of Agile software development principles and methodology
  • A seasoned business leader and a visionary with a proven history of delivering new products and owning the entire product management cycle
  • Purposeful, initiative-taker who can translate user problems and needs into great products, while managing complex product decisions and trade-offs
  • Track record of collaborating with a direct team and an ecosystem of partners
  • Demonstrated ability to drive positive change by ensuring buy-in from internal and external stakeholders with competing agendas and priorities to apply
  • Competent in the day-to-day management function – understanding customer pain, creating user stories, prioritization of objectives, value/cost analysis, customer validation, removing roadblocks
  • Develop and grow a strong product team, inspire purpose within the product team, and create excitement around products across the company
  • Communicate department strategy and updates effectively within software engineering, product team, and across departments
  • Experience in two sided marketplaces and/or real estate is preferred but not required

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in our Playa Vista, California location is $220,000-$280,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience applicable to the role and within the industry, education, geographic location, etc. Commercial Real Estate Exchange, Inc (“Crexi”) is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
