Title: Transportation Coordinator/Driver
Job Duties: The Transportation Coordinator/Driver will serve multiple duties regarding the therapeutic care and transportation needs of the people we serve. The Transportation Coordinator/Driver provides facility staff with driving services such as persons served to doctors’ appointments and recreational activities, running errands, and picking up and transporting admission/ discharge persons served. This position requires the ability and desire to work with a diverse group of individuals respectfully and professionally. You will also provide the therapeutic milieu by monitoring and communicating with persons served and assisting in crisis intervention.
Schedule:
- Full-time: Monday-Friday (occasional weekends)
Qualifications:
- Prefer a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a field related to mental health or Two (2) years of full-time experience or part-time equivalent in a mental health setting.
- Must be 18 or older and have a valid CA driver's license.
- Preferred one year experience as a driver for a long-term care facility.
