Crestline's Accounting Internship opportunity will provide valuable hands‐on experience in supporting day‐to‐day accounting operations within our credit‐focused alternative investment portfolio.
Primary responsibilities:
- General Accounting Support:
- Assist with routine accounting tasks, including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with team members to address inquiries and resolve basic accounting issues.
- Financial Reporting Assistance:
- Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Assist in activities related to ensuring compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements.
- Participate in tasks related to external audits and regulatory examinations.
- Internal Controls and Processes:
- Learn and contribute to the maintenance of internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain the integrity of financial information.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Financial Analysis Assistance:
- Provide support for basic financial analysis efforts, offering insights and data to assist team members.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments, including fund accounting, and operations to contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting.
Competency:

Education and experience:
