Position Summary
Crescent Sanitation people are responsible to perform their assigned duties in a manner which is safe, and efficient while focusing on proper handling of materials in the cleaning, sanitizing and caretaking of Crescent facilities inside and out. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safety
- Read and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing It Safe
- Ensure Safe and well-maintained Work Environment and conditions throughout all work spaces, facility and surrounding areas
- Actively participate in Safety Committee activities and initiatives and promoting a Safety-First Culture
- Assist with collection of SDS
- Ensure chemicals and pesticides never brought in from home
People
- Read and understand the Crescent Way
- Work closely and harmoniously with fellow Team Members
- Positively contribute to a team environment by mutually respecting each other
- Ensure all customer touch points and communications are positive
Productivity
- Encourage good working conditions and provide positive motivation for all Crescent People
- Maintain a good knowledge of all Crescent sanitation supplies always maintaining proper stock levels.
- Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sanitation schedules that ensure that cleaning tasks are performed at defied frequencies and to the expected level of completeness
- Trained to safely and effectively run the scrubber
Continuous Improvement
- Working with other departments and utilize tools and resources to drive a lean culture
- Leading projects to eliminate waste and defects within the department

- Ensure proper documentation is kept and maintained of processes and procedure including but not limited to, job aids, work instructions, and non-conformance documents
- Assist with operations management as regards to adherence to sanitation processes
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Work Environment / Physical Demands
- Fast paced environment, requiring adaptability to constant changes in schedules, volumes, staffing and shift requirements
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Qualification
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sanitation responsibilities preferred
