Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in a compliance, quality assurance, or a similar role within a regulated industry (preferably healthcare)
  • Experience with contracting and legal frameworks
  • Client-facing experience: You are driven to understand what a client really needs, why, and how we can best deliver products and services.
  • Skilled at and comfortable with collaborating and interacting with clients, external auditors, and regulatory agencies
  • Familiar with regulatory frameworks (prior experience as follows is a plus: CMS, NCQA, Joint Commission, and other healthcare regulatory frameworks + requirements)
  • Experience working with multiple internal stakeholders, such as product, sales, and client success teams
  • Detailed oriented, organized, and excellent communicator

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and keep up to date a compliance onboarding program and ongoing training curriculum for staff and new hires
  • Ensure CredSimple processes and procedures are compliant to state, federal, and non-governmental/industry regulatory standards (e.g. NCQA, CMS, Joint Commission) and pertinent client requirements
    • Take ownership of weekly compliance office hours and monthly compliance reviews
    • Show our commitment to continuous improvement by maintaining policy and procedure documents with updates from weekly/monthly sessions
    • Own the biennial NCQA recertification process from end-to-end
    • Research state and federal rules and regulations and stay abreast of changing regulations
  • Perform and track pre-hire and monthly OIG and SAM reviews of CredSimple staff and consultants
  • Serve as compliance and quality subject matter expert for internal and external clients
    • Support CredSimple’s Sales, Service Delivery, and Product and Engineering
    • Support client-specific inquiries
  • Establish internal ongoing audit process
    • Collaborate with Operations to develop a rigorous, efficient, and practical approach to both quality auditing and continuous process improvement
    • Perform relevant external audits (e.g. vendors)
