The Product Marketing team is looking for a Senior Manager to drive and deliver key go-to-market strategies for our financial monitoring and discovery and financial assistant product features. We’re looking for an experienced product marketing candidate to lead strategy development to delivery against core company goals, adoption and usage of these products. Through the efforts leading our GTM strategy, you will help deliver Credit Karma's core mission of helping our more than 130+ million members make financial progress.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and refine positioning, segmentation strategy, competitive analysis and messaging framework to communicate the value of providing our members with a holistic view of their finances beyond credit data to drive our connected account goals 
  • Partner with key stakeholders (eg product, growth marketing, brand & creative, research, analytics, etc) across Financial Assistant, Financial Monitoring & Discovery, and Credit Cards teams to create a center of excellence for connected accounts, synthesizing qual/quant member insights (e.g. NPS, member support, qualtrics, and other voice-of-customer inputs) with performance best practices and competitive research, and establishing ongoing feedback loops across vertical and horizontal teams to accelerate strategies that work, while learning from mistakes along the way
  • Inspire action through data-driven insights (market research, testing plans, etc) 
  • Provide world-class deliverables to differentiate the offerings in the market, including product positioning and messaging across the portfolio, website/app content; product naming; and competitive positioning
  • Establish rituals, processes, and transparent communications to uplift and empower all cross-functional teams building and marketing connected accounts benefits for members

What we are looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing at a consumer technology company 
  • 3+ years of experience of managing and coaching high-performing teams with experience applying consumer insights to improve the product and marketing experience
  • Strong experience in product marketing fundamentals: positioning, messaging, user personas, product launches, competitive intelligence, segmentation and product discovery
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or at least 5 years of related business experience and a track record of continuous professional development

  • High ownership mentality with a strong willingness to roll up your sleeves while also being able to delegate effectively and lean on others
  • Experience in a consumer focused technology company is preferred

Pay Transparency Notice: Credit Karma’s mission of championing financial progress for all starts from within. That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $150,000-$177,000, plus equity and benefits.
