Credit Karma is looking for a data analyst to join the Partner Success team. This individual will support the Partner Success team with a focus on Data and Reporting.
What the Job Entails:
- Become a subject matter authority on Credit Karma’s and our partners’ data configuration and processes
- Lead day-to-day operations of the data ingestion pipeline with our partners, including aligning on the data schemas, investigating potential discrepancies and proactively monitoring for issues.
- Establish a strong understanding of our partner’s reporting and leverage your knowledge of our partners data and capabilities to provide business recommendations
- Develop strong relationships with cross-functional internal teams including Business Intelligence, Analytics, Business Development, Finance, Legal and Compliance, Product and Engineering, and other internal teams
- Develop methods to identify, monitor, and remedy data gaps and inconsistencies
- Drive initiatives and process changes to excel, automate, and scale our data operations
- Develop and implement best practice processes, maintain updated documentation, and provide recommendations as appropriate
Minimum Basic Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in analytics, finance, business operations, compliance or similar field
- Experience in Internet, Technology, or high growth companies preferred
- Ability and comfort working cross-functionally with finance, analytics, engineering, product, and business teams, and external Partners
- Self-starter, intellectually curious and a fast learner with high standards for accuracy
- Extremely proficient in Excel and Google Workspace
- Bonus Experience: SQL, Python, Data Visualization (e.g., Looker), Salesforce, and JIRA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accountable, creative, and team-focused individual who loves problem solving and owning and driving initiatives with little/no supervision
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with varied responsibilities while balancing multiple deadlines
- Have a great sense of responsibility, take ownership for your work, get a sense of achievement from solving a problem and helping others
- Are comfortable with ambiguity - strong proactive communication and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Have an affinity for or a strong interest in technical and operational processes; you will also actively seek the answers of what you don’t know.
- Go-getter attitude with innate curiosity - able to learn quickly (technology, tools, and processes), ask a lot of questions, and persevere for results
- Experience optimizing and automating processes, with a strong focus on scalability
- Bachelor’s degree
