Talent Analyst Role: 

Reporting directly to our head of platform, the talent analyst will support various recruitment, diligence and community building initiatives. This person will perform talent mapping activities as well as source candidates and experts for the purposes of diligence calls. They will also play a role in supporting Create’s community initiatives, working with our partners to spearhead events. Ultimately, this person will lead backend recruiting processes as well as support in operationalizing our ecosystem cultivation practices. Responsibilities:

  • Generally assist in the acquisition of talent for our portfolio companies
  • Identifying and contacting talent via online tools, networking events and any other available means; actively sourcing founding team members for future opportunities, this includes Founders, General Managers, Engineers, Product, and Operators, 
  • Actively source experts in various industries for our venture team 
  • Schedule candidate and expert interviews
  • Develop candidate tagging and back end data collecting processes across our ATS, Typeform and Notion accounts
  • Understand our portfolio companies’ culture and employment needs; conduct research in the form of talent mapping for various roles Create is working on
  • Create job descriptions and other promotional materials to aid the company in acquiring talent Develop candidate cultivation strategies that align with timelines and business goals
  • Support in the development of Create’s search strategies and team recruiting processes 
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Develop scalable system to keep track and leverage our growing community
  • Support in managing ATS administration and upkeep as well as understand various platforms and tools used for recruiting talent
  • Execute against ecosystem outreach strategies  to further develop our ecosystem

About you: 

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience working with early stage businesses 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication 
  • Demonstrated success hiring a range of candidates from diverse backgrounds 
  • Ability to ramp up on new searches quickly and effectively 
  • Past success meeting aggressive goals and moving candidates through process efficiently
  • Strategic and tactful 
  • Direct/boolean sourcing experience, using LinkedIn, and other approaches
