About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and interested to work on a completely new content business.  You’re someone who has experience working with digital and creative assets, both from a technology and content scalability perspective.  You are also someone who is comfortable and enjoys wearing different hats and dealing with ambiguity.  In this role, you are the one able to find the answers or make and vet assumptions when you do not know something. Your role also serves as the collaborative bridge between the creative and technical worlds. You are also not afraid to admit when you do not know something and are willing to look for answers along with being thoughtful and research-oriented and interested in figuring out how to contribute to the greater good of the organization and the team.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Conduct competitive research, market assessments and business model validation and development
  • Document use cases and creative workflows
  • Lead requirements capture and definition
  • Identify and assess existing solutions
  • Scope out the work for original solutions
  • Assist in or lead “build” vs “buy” assessments
  • Project manage and interface with internal and external development teams
  • Identify and escalate risks
  • Identify and track KPIs
  • Define requirements in necessary formats to allow development, testing, support, usage and adoption
  • Prioritize features with corresponding transparent justification, inferred from KPIs, business analytics tools, and other qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Lead business from a holistic business and product perspective, drive the business unit’s product roadmap, feature development, and expansion in image licensing
  • Lead development of highly scalable, automated software and systems


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, creative or applicable areas; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years experience as a Digital Product Manager or similar role 
  • Proven understanding of Digital Asset based business model(s) and revenue channels; this critically includes a familiarity with license based business models
  • Familiarity with ‘name and likeness’/image based content licensing/acquisition, including key acquisition commercial and legal terms
  • An understanding of those key product elements that would be included and spec'd in a licensing based image software platform, in terms of payment, tracking, approvals, auditing and so forth
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions, Adobe Suite, or CAD products is a plus
  • Strong photography and design skills, technical background and familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) tools, familiarity with tools drive scale (e.g. macros)
  • Experience with DST formats, and variable font forms such as cut-outs and embossed versions a plus
  • Experience refactoring digital to physical print, in terms of space, color calibration and formats
  • Excellent organizational, as well as, written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to oversee and manage a high volume of priority projects with little to no supervision
  • Comfortable interacting and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Proactive and analytical approach; an eye for detail
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
