Coursera is looking for a capable, motivated Digital Employee Experience Developer who will work with the Digital Employee Experience team to deliver radical, emergent digital employee experience solutions within ServiceNow. This individual will also be responsible for assisting in our general IT automation using best-of-breed technologies such as ServiceNow, Workato, Workday, Okta, Slack. As part of a growing IT team you will work in different areas and provide your expertise on best practices and assist in creating more efficient and effective methods to get the job done. Coursera’s IT Team is filled with technical savvy individuals who are curious by nature. This role will have a special focus on ServiceNow and other Cloud Technologies in order to assist in the assessment, implementation, & maintenance of new services.

We are looking for another team member who shares a drive to focus in IT Operations, Automation, and IT Security to help in key areas.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform to support various business processes, including applications under IT Service Management, IT Asset Management, CMDB, HR Service Delivery, Legal Service Delivery, Employee Center, Performance Analytics, and Integrations to External Platforms across multiple instances.
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user management, access control, workflow administration, data management, and system maintenance tasks.
  • Multi-task between upcoming platform growth and projects, operational changes, and planning for future internal customer additions to the platform.
  • Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow enhancements, updates, and patches to ensure system stability, functionality, and adherence to best practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, workflows, and customizations. Provide training and guidance to end-users and other administrators on ServiceNow functionality and best practices.
  • Assist in the organization’s goal to attract the best talent, drive performance, development, and retention.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration & implementations including writing/creating advanced custom business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACL’s, data policies, UI scripts, flow designs.
  • 2+ years experience working with Web services & Javascript APIs and various integration tools such as Data Import/Export, MID Servers, IntegrationHub, Event-driven integrations, etc.
  • Demonstrates a robust focus on detail and dedication to delivering solutions of high quality. Required to exhibit a discerning ability to identify and address system issues and inconsistencies.
  • Experience with Agile Development and Scrum methodologies with strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally within the organization

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Iaas, PaaS, iPaaS, & SaaS Integrations
  • A degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Information Technology
  • ServiceNow certifications related to System Administration, ITSM, ITAM, SPM, HR Professional, GRC, PA
  • Experience in providing training or documenting training guides for non-technical users
