Job Overview 

The Coupang Marketplace business is responsible for providing a scalable platform where sellers of any scale and size can be successful selling on Coupang. In this role, you will have opportunity to deeply understand the vibrant online seller community in South Korea and Asia. Coupang Marketplace is seeing significant year-over-year business growth, and we are building the team to get us there. 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • As a product manager on our Marketplace business, you will dive deep into specific aspect of seller lifecycle that includes seller acquisition, product listings, managing orders and shipments etc.  
  • Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap and KPIs of a specific business function.  
  • Lead the entire product life cycle from inception to launch, including writing product requirements, defining use cases, setting success metrics, running A/B tests and increasing customer adoption. 
  • Identify opportunities to generate revenue by removing any friction points in the end-to-end customer/seller experience.  
  • Have a deep understanding of the customer and provide the Voice of the Customer to stakeholders.  
  • Establish strong partnerships with UX designers, developers, Customer Support and business stakeholders to support business growth.  

 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, including developing, delivering and executing on a strong product vision. 
  • Analytical thinker who works well in a fast-paced, data-driven and highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture 
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.  
  • Bias for action and willingness to get your hands dirty to get any job done. 
  • Sound business judgment and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence others.  

 

Preferred 

  • Experience in launching consumer facing products.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience 
  • Industry work experience related to eCommerce or B2B SaaS  
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/Lean practices and software development  
  • Fluent in English and Korean
