Role Overview
‘Global Merchandising & New Initiatives’ team at Coupang’s Global eCom organization focuses on driving marketing, selection and new business for Coupang’s strong global portfolio. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Global Catalog Operation Specialist. This person must be entrepreneurial by nature with responsibility for contributing to a positive customer experience on Coupang’s global marketing as a part of a fun, diverse, and global-experienced team. The individual will also work across a matrix organization internally with cross-functional teams as well as external network. The primary goal of this role is to help Coupang’s global team to improve its global catalog that our customers want and drives increased loyalty.

What You Will Do
1. Begins everyday Obsessing over Customer Experience. Starts with customer focused objectives and works backwards. Builds solutions to address and Wow our Customers
2. Communicates with internal stakeholders as well as internal cross-functional teams to own catalog management of global selection and merchandising
3. Assist catalog operation activities in the team
- Conducts marketing research to analyze selection trend for global eCom business teams
- Work with global business teams to identify blockers of as-is catalog process to streamline
4. Develops and manages SOPs – example is to manage item onboarding and compliance standard operating procedures to ensure all processes are documented and up-to-date with current best practices and to ensure all items onboarded are compliant with relevant regulation

- 글로벌 비즈니스 팀과 협력하여 현재 카탈로그 프로세스를 방해하는 요소를 식별하여 간소화
- SOP 개발 및 관리 (모든 프로세스 문서화 및 표준 운영 절차 관리)
Basic Qualifications
- Able to speak/read Korean and English at fluent level
- Proficient in Microsoft (esp. Excel)
- Decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas
- A passionate self-starter, ready to take Coupang’s customer experience to the next level
- Ability to prioritize work and to find a way in a complex, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
- 1~3yrs of relevant work experience in business operation, eCommerce or retail business
- Bachelor's degree majored in business, finance, analytical or related majors. (mathematics, engineering, statistics, economics, marketing etc.)
- Experience with SQL or Tableau is a plus
- Able to use Chinese is a plus
- PBS catalog experience is a plus
우대 사항
- 1~3년의 사업 운영, 이커머스, 리테일 관련 경력을 갖추신 분
- Business, Finance, 분석 관련 학사 학위를 보유하신 분 (수학, 공학, 통계, 경제, 마케팅 등)
- SQL 또는 Tableau 사용 경험이 있으신 분
- 중국어 역량이 있으신 분
- PBS 카탈로그 운영 경험을 갖추신 분 **
