Job Introduction 

Retail Systems team is responsible for building platforms, tools and systems that help identify, source, offer and scale retail selection that meets the expectations & wants of Coupang customers. As group product manager for retail vendor relationship management, you will develop tools that help vendor managers and vendors in the aspects of

  • Negotiation
  • COGS / Pricing
  • Vendor onboarding
  • Streamlined selection sourcing target and pipeline progress management.
  • Vendor relationship management
  • Drive sourcing efficiencies with integration to upstream vendor self-serve sourcing and ops led onboarding tools. 

This role will be the primary leader for all strategies / platforms / tools targeted towards vendor managers in Coupang. This role will work closely with stakeholders across Retail business, Retail finance and Retail systems product & operations team to develop long-term product roadmap, define specifications and launch features.

  • You will identify opportunities, formulate strategies and the execution plan that help Coupang retail organization meet and constantly rise its annual sourcing and master catalog targets.
  • Develop product roadmaps in line with operating plans for Coupang retail business plans across different retail categories.
  • Align stakeholders, socialize your plan, define success metrics, and finally implement, launch and measure the impact of the features you ship.
  • Lead business reviews with senior leadership across different verticals.
  • This role will require you to work with UX design and Software engineering teams to craft compelling experiences that help drive selection led growth.

Job Overview

  • Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap and KPIs for the specific vendor relationship management area of retail systems – sourcing domain in partnership with the director of the area.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle of vendor CRM systems from inception to launch, including writing product requirements, defining use cases, and setting success metrics.
  • Define new initiatives with clear goals and timelines achieved through multi- party communication and detailed project management processes.
  • Inspire the team with the product vision and work cross-functionally especially with vendor self-service teams to address needs and issues raised in vendor VOC surveys.
  • Own and drive improvements in selection led GMV growth including running A/B tests and impact analysis of the features

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product/program management, with a track record of delivering complex, large-scale technical products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience building or implementing CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot etc..) in a swift and impactful manner.
  • Analytical thinker who works well in a fast-paced, data-driven, and entrepreneurial culture
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Bias for action and willingness to get hands dirty to get the job done.
  • Sounds business judgment and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence others with superior verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information systems, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience 
  • Mater's in business administration - preferred
